What you will work on
As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible to generate a
sales pipeline
and driving business within
European region
, with the aim to find an excellent fit with our UMAX solution by identifying and reaching out to
utilities
within our target markets.
The market covered by this position includes new accounts across a broad spectrum of companies in strategic countries within the European area. The expectation is to create viable high-quality sales
opportunities
, help move those opportunities through the entire sales process, and support the business development team in the lead conversion and lead closing activities.
As our Business Development Manager...
- Develop and manage sales pipeline
of new utility customer opportunities for the European market - Define optimal
go-to-market strategies
in close collaboration with management for strategic EMEA countries - Coordinate the
sales process
(Documenting all sales activities and notifying the organization of contract/RFP due dates in dynamics CRM) to ensure sales targets are realized. Therefor you take full sales target ownership for the European Market. - Keep up to date with
evolutions and developments
in the utility sector, the standard functionalities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and new technologies. - Maintain relations with prospects
and clients and conduct frequent face-to-face meetings in order to identify new business opportunities. - You report directly to our management team by providing them with accurate forecasts of team results.
We are looking for:
a strong professional with experience in lead generation and business development activities within an international context and who:
- has affinity with the
utility market - has a Master degree or equivalent by experience
- has fluent
English

French
and
Dutch
communication skills - has a high level of energy, drive, intellect, enthusiasm and commitment; including the ability to work in a fast moving, challenging and result-oriented environment
- a proven record for selling complex services and solutions to the
"C" level
of major international companies - has strong analytical and strategic skills
- is result-driven, takes responsibility and initiative.
